Why in the name of everything holy does yahoo want to make tumblr family friendly?

Tumblr isn’t for families. tumblr is where we go to escape our families. Tumblr is where people can go to be socially unacceptable and still find acceptance. Making tumblr “family friendly” would handicap this place of freedom we have carved out for ourselves.
If you take away our limitlessness, if you begin to censor us, you’ll make this place no different from the world we come here to escape from and we will leave you empty and alone.
